Had an issue where AC was not working properly, and called B&K to come take a look. They surprised me in that they said they could have someone come out within a couple hours. Since I wasn't going to be home then, we rescheduled for the next day. On 20 Jun 2018, Gary arrived and my unit was ice covered. He indicated I had a leak someplace and my unit was about 50% short of Freon. Since this was a 21 year old unit, he told me that come 2020 the type of Freon used by this unit would no longer be available by Federal mandate. Based on that information combined with the age of the system and the likelihood of something else breaking down, I decided to go for a replacement. Larry their salesman came out and explained a few options that would work for my situation, and I selected a Trane system. We were several weeks from an available scheduling date, so Larry arranged for a no-cost recharge of the old system to tide me over. When the scheduled date arrived Brian and Scott arrived promptly at 8:00AM and worked tirelessly in 95 degree heat indexed weather to finish the removal of the old unit and the install of the new heat pump, air handler and programmable thermostat. Finished it all up by 5:00PM. I was very impressed with Gary, Larry, Brian and Scott. All were courteous, professional and patient while answering my many questions. I highly recommend this company.

Just fine, Bob has been with B&K for about 15 years & is super professional. We have been using their "Comfort Care" Preventative Maintenance Agreement for many years, which has saved money and headaches more than once. Two summers ago multiple beetles shorted out several contacts in the condenser unit outside, the cost of the parts and labor easily surpassed the price of the agreement - it's a great deal!

As an out-of-state owner of a rental home, I'm fortunate to have a wonderful property manager to handle issues as they arise and rely heavily upon her recommendations when it comes to hiring local service providers. She only works with the best! On a winter day with temps in the low 20's, Patricia at B&K Heating took the call and when she heard that the furnace in our rental home wasn't producing heat and that our tenants had two small children, she sent a technician out immediately. B&K's specialist, Larry, quickly diagnosed an irreparable cracked heat exchange in the 30+-year-old furnace and promised he could have the entire unit replaced by the next morning. I'm sure it wasn't an easy feat, as the heating and cooling units sit under the house in a crawl space, but B&K replaced the furnace quickly and efficiently as promised and at an extremely competitive price. My only regret is that B&K doesn't have an office here in California where we live!
